Issues for Windows and Mac
- Sometimes, after adding a new feed or importing feeds, you may encounter the "Something Has Gone Awry" error screen. If you select "Brief Report" and click the button to show the bug report, you will likely see that what happened was a "KeyError" and where it happened was "retrieveFeed blazingfeeds__init__.pyc". If you see that, you don't need to submit the report. Your feed has been added to the database, and if you quit and restart Zesty News, everything should be fine.
- Some headlines may appear with codes like & instead of just &.
- The secondary screens are ugly.
- The border on the popup view of an item is not displayed correctly when the item has a Google ad in it.
Windows-specific issues
- On some sites, generally ones with popup windows, you may see JavaScript errors if you have the Zesty Toolbar installed. The errors I've noticed are "Permission Denied" or "Object Not Found". This does not usually impair your ability to use IE, but can be annoying if you have Microsoft Script Debugger installed.
Mac OS-specific issues
- OPML import from NetNewsWire does not yet work.
