Optimized for reading and scanningMany RSS readers would have you believe that reading RSS articles is like reading email. News is not like email, and Zesty News works with that. When you have lots of new stories you want to browse through, a view that is set up for readability is a big help. For higher scoring articles, Zesty News presents a small excerpt and a picture, if there is one, to make it easy to spot the articles that are most appealing. For articles with lower z!scores, Zesty News uses a smaller format without the excerpt, so you can scan more quickly through the headlines. When you spot a story that you want more of, you can click the "Full Story" link to go to see the story on its original site. Or, you can click the headline to get a popup view:
Many sites include the complete article in their feed, so you can read it right within Zesty News. And, if you find yourself on a plane or a remote beach in Hawaii, you can read those stories even when you're offline.
